Five beautiful parks spanning 60+ acres of green space, all open dawn to dusk. Every park is a tobacco-free facility.
Scarbrough Park

Our flagship park features 4 baseball and softball fields, the famous Splash Pad with over 10 water features, a huge playground, walking trails, picnic facilities with two pavilions, sand volleyball courts, and Tucker Trails hiking area.
Soccer Plex
308 Maine Street
Home to Spring and Fall youth soccer leagues. Features a U6 Field, U8 Field, and U12/U15 Field, along with picnic tables, a concession stand, and ample parking.
Place Park
Near Urey Middle School
A classic community park with a playground featuring slides, swings, teeter totters, monkey bars, a glider, merry-go-round, and a basketball court. Also has a sledding hill in winter.
Urey Park
A peaceful park perfect for relaxing, picnics, family gatherings, and enjoying the outdoors in Walkerton.
Water Tower Fields
Additional recreational space in Walkerton, ideal for community use and special events.

Splash Pad
Over 10 water features connected to the playground. One of the kids' favorites in the community.
Walking & Hiking Trails
Approximately 2 miles of paved walking trail plus Tucker Trails — a hiking area through vast woods dedicated in 2019 to former Superintendent Vicki Tucker.
Playgrounds
Two playgrounds: Scarbrough Playground with slides, play structures, benches, swings, and teeter totters adjacent to the Splash Pad. Place Park Playground with classic equipment, monkey bars, a glider, merry-go-round, and basketball court.
Sledding Hills
Two sledding hills for winter fun: Scarbrough Park Sledding Hill behind Softball Field 1, and Place Park Sledding Hill where the park bowls to lower ground.
